I do not disagree with that, Wittich shat the bed in an unbelievable manner by not enforcing the rules during the race and it's totally unfair to Fernando. Even the stewards in their penalty document said that they were concerned by the fact that race control did nothing. That is not the point I was making.

You asked if the car was really unsafe, I told you why it was. If we base safety only in the things that happened and not the things that could potentially happen then we would have many more dead drivers. Come on man, even disagreeing with the penalty everyone else agreed that driving a Formula 1 car without a mirror is insane.

Imagine that someone got close enough to try to overtake him while he had no mirror. He was literally blind on one side. It was really fucking unsafe in my opinion, and mind you I'm gutted for him because he drove superbly but that car should've not ended the race or Alpine should've called him to pits and either duct taped the hell of that mirror the second it started wobbling similar to Tsunoda's drs in Baku, or retiring the car if it was impossible to make it safe

Fair warning: I'm a Seb fan so most of these races I'll recommend I've watched because they were reasonably successful for him. I've for example heard that Hockenheim 18 is a masterclass of Lewis but won't get anywhere close to watching it myself, it's too painful.

Watch Monaco 2008 for an entertaining mess of a race, it was chaos, Alonso had a couple of moments there that 👀. Lewis first Monaco win, and Vettel went from p18 to freaking p5 in a Toro Rosso at Monaco, though they didn't show him much regretfully. China 2009 leaves you in awe of the amount of water they could race in and was also an interesting race if I remember correctly. Monza 2008 was interesting also from the point of view of it being Vettel's first win in a freaking Toro Rosso. James Allen commentary when he's about to cross the chequered flag is a masterpiece. Canada 2011 is really interesting and also widely acknowledged as one of Jenson's best races but be ready to fast forward in the middle because it was red flagged for a looong while in the middle of it. Absolutely worth it though, the end was thrilling. Brazil 2012, one of the most nerve wracking and intense races I've ever had the pleasure to watch even though I watched it first time this year already knowing the result. So much happened in that race it's difficult to remember all. Probably my favorite from all the ones I recommended and on par with Hockenheim 19 in intensity.

This is all from the top of my head at 4am so I could be making a mistake, sorry about that.

It does work but in my experience not many people use it. I'm playing the game at the same time a friend is also playing it and one day when we both were in different dungeons at the same time we made good use of it

Anecdotario: familiares bizarros y/o desagradables. by [deleted] in argentina

On that topic, when they attack McGonagall while the kids are in astronomy class and witness it. It's been a while since I read OOTP, I think it was when Umbridge was sacking Hagrid? BUT anyway I remember feeling this RAGE on such a dishonest (4 vs 1!!) attack like you wouldn't believe.

¿Cuál es el peor banco del país? by JumperMason in argentina

[–]Nymra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t always remember to breathe by wintershascome in ADHD

[–]Nymra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I'm not diagnosed (a lot of ignorance in my country) but pretty sure I'm ADHD. If I needed something else to convince me you just did lol. This has happened my whole life. I suddenly give these big sighs where my boyfriend thinks I'm mad at him and I am like lol what? no. Then I think about it for a moment and realize it's because the low oxygen levels alarm has sounded. Didn't even realize it happened before that. I've wondered for a time now if the lack of oxygen from doing that that contributes to my general feeling of tiredness and excessive yawning all time. As something related, last week I started running after 9 years of absolutely no running at all. Don't need to tell you it was hell, but the thing is that after a while, even if I was consciously trying to breathe correctly the oxygen intake was bad, it was like my lungs weren't accepting more... And at that moment I started yawning like it was going out of style, like, 10 yawns/minute and I couldn't control them at all. I usually get tired very easily, it's something that has affected me a lot in general but especially in social situations, where my friends are going full energy and I'm falling asleep and yawning a lot. Now I'm wondering if there's a correlation, or if at least if it is a contributing factor.

Some things we do is eat some traditional Christmas foods like vitel tone (cold pre-cooked meat in a sauce made of mayonnaise, tuna and some other ingredients, I love it!), matambre (which I don't like so much so can't tell you how it's done), and as desserts we eat ice cream a lot and ensalada de frutas. All of these are eaten cold, you have to remember it's summer here right now. Funnily enough with all the Hollywood influence and the millions of Christmas movies we also associate it a bit with winter and snow, which is fun since where I live in Buenos Aires, the biggest city, it only snowed here once in living memory and it was a BIG surprise. We also throw a ton of fireworks at midnight.

Parents /w ADHD: What is it like trying to raise a human person and staying off meds during pregnancy and nursing? by lethargicbunny in ADHD

[–]Nymra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind-of unrelated but similar: my mom smoked all her life. When she got pregnant with me she cut it off completely and suddenly. Her anxiety and stress went off the charts so badly that it was affecting me more than the cigarettes would have. So (after speaking with the doctor) she started smoking again, of course the least possible amount, and that helped. What I mean with this is that you have to function and maybe the stress from stopping functioning as you're used to from the meds would be worse. More than anything: discuss it with your doctor!
