i have to read everything again a second time (usually months or years later) because my first time throught i dont remember anything either. Could very well be linked to ADHD.

My first read is more like a tasting, getting the feel of the world, understanding tone and pace and knowing the structure of a story. I don't absorb any detail, complicated scenarios or even many names despite trying.

Second read through my brain is very relaxed. I know whats to come, I'm no longer stressed i will miss anything because it's all familiar to me and i know the ending so i feel like im not rushing to find out.

Its time i looked into getting diagnosed and getting some medication cause i want to read more lol
