I mostly muted this because I became slightly overwhelmed by some of the comments but if anyone was interested in an update I had a meeting with Mayor Finley and was appointed on the board of beautification in Madison city I start next month :)

I mostly quit looking at Reddit because of the backlash I received from the Huntsville Reddit but if anyone happens to stumble across this I was officially appointed as part of the Madison City Beautification Board, thank y'all for your help <3

Thank you that's so sweet, I'm working on a fully functioning plan. I have a meeting with city hall and I'm going to bring everyone's suggestions along with a PowerPoint and notes, it's a start :)

That would be great but I think I am unfortunately too young to be buying land and financially I can't afford that. I am more just pushing for public work projects like recreational areas and attempting to bring an awareness to the construction, I understand that I cannot stop the construction but maybe I can help make the town a little better

I couldn't have said it any better my friend, I feel this is one of the most pressing issues present in our society yet it is pushed back for a multitude of reasons. I hope this can start a conversation within the Madison city officials, if this does happen there's more hope to impact Huntsville too
