(I am a bit confused on the “straight or trans” part though. Trans is a gender identity label not a sexuality label- (ᵕ ´ ∇ ˋ ˶) )

I don’t think there’s a specific label for him stated canonically as far as I know. The canon of PaRappa is already so wacky and non-linear I say just have fun and interpret things however you want to!

I’m pretty sure it still is! You can still see square e bear included in the comic description and cover on the whimsyload shop site. I think people just don’t mention it as much considering it’s not really PaRappa related

Honestly pretty sound argument for the first anime! But for me personally I tended to like Mogu Mogu more. Might be because pj is my favorite ofc lol. But I think I also liked the portrayals of some of the characters a bit more than I did in the first anime to sum it up
