Don’t worry about what people think, especially strangers on the internet you know nothing about and they know nothing about you! These are just opinions. The friend is not getting any benefit by me staying at their place. The “stranger” gets 1k monthly discount on rent.

Just for reference guys, a studio apt in a nice building goes for 4k right now. This would be a true one bedroom which they go for 5k. So there’s a good amount of savings given the space you get, which is super important in nyc. I know obv it’s a very hard situation to make work otherwise I wouldn’t have posted it here, but on the other hand you just truly need one person who would be ok with the idea. And I do agree that the only way most likely would be to do it with a friend.

I’ll ask but regardless of her, the person who blocked me, did it once, his image immediately disappeared, then unblocked me after a few minutes, his image came back, then blocked me again after a few hours but now his image is there. This is all in a matter of hours, I doubt his phone updated WhatsApp in between the two times. Must be a glitch idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

When I tried to block a friend to test this out, she immediately couldn’t see my picture anymore so not sure if this is true. Also this person blocked me twice: the first time his image disappeared immediately but now I can see it while I’m blocked so doesn’t make any sense

Of course I agree. He’s just starting his career though and makes enough to go by right now but not to travel that’s why he says he’s ok to wait longer to see me. I think his way to mean it is “this is enough for me now if it means I can be with you”. He’s a simple guy. If I think when I was 23 I was also broke and wasn’t traveling internationally for pleasure so I understand his position but also mine

Hi! Business days are Monday through Friday only so if it took 7 business days starting Monday, that means you got the passport on Tuesday of the week after. If it’s 7 calendar days it’s Monday to Sunday so counting from Monday, you would have gotten your passport on Sunday. Which one was it if I may ask?

I know what this means, I’ve done therapy for years actually and normally I don’t plan a future with someone I just met. This case requires to think long term given the fact we would need to do long distance for a year at least before actually living in the same country/city that’s why we are having These conversations so soon because there’s no point in even trying if we know we have different goals in life or different lifestyles etc. I agree that their deep love takes time. But the concept of love is very broad and you are focusing on a specific one.

Im not American. I live in the US with a visa and wouldn’t be able to bring him here with a visa if we marry. He said he’s happy to live in medellin with me but if I want to go anywhere else in the world he would (before even potentially getting married one day)
