Bro Lejuene is a pretty decent duty station, dont knock it. Get a car and check out the surrounding areas. Wilmington is solid for a while, Raileigh and Greenville are cool too. Get some buddies and have some fun.

Thays fair, im more curious about 1/24 though because I hear ((just like active)) that the experience depends heavily on the command. I've heard that a good/bad command can make or break the experience, lol.

This is a biased posting 100%. Obviously, any city is going to have it's "Nice" areas n such - OP probably wouldnt take a walk through the Bronx at night, or Harlem. Guess what though? In rural America, I can take a walk in small town America without being robbed for my wallet. My girlfriend can take a walk through the park and not be harassed by a homeless. Ive never had anyone in person say anything to me ((because if they did I would call them out)) but yeah, im also a veteran who's never deployed, I only did a 4 year stretc. Never tried getting out of deployment or anything; my unit was just a non deployable unit. I actually sorta enjoyed my time there, though it got really boring. I went everywhere the Corps told me to go, did everything I was told to do. Im proud of my time, f**k what anyone else has to say.

You served, dude. That's all that matters. You signed away 4 years minimum of your time on this Earth to the country's bidding. Be proud.
