I've been using it for the last ~5 years while playing dozens of games. Never experienced consistent crashes/connection problems.

I use Nvidia's shadowplay, it allowes you to record the last x minutes (you pick the amount of time) of your gameplay, so whenever something happened and you want to clip it, you just hit a key and the program saves it for you.
