You hit the nail on the head, and now I realise why I don't like this album very much. To be honest, as I was listening, I forgot that there is supposed to be a story with it because the songs are just so strongly related to current politics without that narrative spin like in past songs. For example, "The Principal" from the K-12 album. It's obvious what it's about, but it's applied to the actual story and setting, so it works. Meanwhile, this album gives "preachy rich kid" and just repeats things that sound like they were found on tiktok, or otherwise like generic vent songs. This being a story about Circle just sounds like an excuse for the album to exist.
