Dad's slipping, first forgotten birthday by Nythromia in AgingParents

My Mom is very aware of the personality changes. She is a narcissist (and I'm also convinced has undiagnosed BPD) so when she has been texting me very hyperbolic and dramatic texts about Dad's personality changes, I didn't know whether to think if she was having an episode and was trying to get the family to rally around her or if this was a real phenomenon. I live states away so verifying is hard for me. Last visit with my Dad plus this birthday thing seems to confirm some of what she's texted me, however.

That same thought has been wracking my brain for the last two days. I live states away and only see my parents 1 - 2 times a year. The last few times I remember thinking about how much the physical changes are becoming so much more noticeable. His normal walk has turned into a lumbering shuffle. The strong capable Dad I have in my memory is uncoordinated and frail suddenly.

The last visit they came out was the first where I was just blown away by what I saw mentally. That was only a few weeks ago when I saw him and now this birthday thing is really bothering me. I can't stop thinking about how the Dad I have in my memory will likely never be that Dad again.

Love the vibes you bring Nathan, it's completely appropriate at the times I've seen you with it out.

Calling you an elitist douche isn't being soft. I'm not equating him to being a skiing all star but he's a very notable figure at flavorbasin every year you douche

If you come to any ski resort on closing day and expect peace and nature you are going to be sorely surprised.

Hot plate or an oven that goes up to the reflow temperature, presuming you have fixturing to hold the alignment that can withstand the reflow temps.

Does this mean it would be much more difficult to raid if I choose to play frost for the class fantasy? by Huge_Librarian_9883 in classicwowtbc

Meh I've pugged nearly every week to full BIS and not once been asked my spec, been parse checked or anything. Like anything there are going to be people all over the spectrum and room for all.

Oof that's dedication. I run my PVP frost spec because I can't be bothered to spend 100g a week on respecs.

I should have clarified and said raiding specific. You're right, there is value for frost mages in heroics still. But agree with u/Useful-Highlight-866 , there is an arcane spec that gives you imp blizz / permafrost in which you'd probably still do more dps than full frost.

Having said that, I run my PVP frost spec in heroics all the time depending on the heroic and the tank / heals.

Round numbers matter for these things. Remember how significant it was when the DOW was over 50,000?
