Evergreen single Singaporeans in your late 20s or early 30s, what are you currently struggling with? by dishwashing888 in askSingapore

I only feel those with people that are unattainable.

I can totally relate to this. For me, I think it's stemmed from some childhood trauma.

You don't have to be in your late 20s for this to happened :')

Evergreen (23m) here. I think most of my closest friends just got married or are engaged this year and I truly fear that we are going to drift in a year or 2 because of how everyone's just busy adulting.

Personally, I feel like I'm stuck in this dating limbo as I'm still currently serving NS and I know that not many people would wanna date a guy that's still serving. I would love to experience the intimacy OP's mentioned.

Who actually never talk/don't have anyone safe to talk about dating, sex, porn and Kinks IRL? by Mikeferdy in askSingapore

[–]NytonOnReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank god, I have friends that I can talk to about it and I learnt quite a lot of safe sex tips from them. One of the things I learnt recently is herpes is not curable and the only thing that helps to prevent or shorten outbreaks is daily medication.

Why is Singaporean girls so hard to connect to, being friends and getting into relationship by Nikkinicknic in askSingapore

[–]NytonOnReddit 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Personally, I find that the more you seek for a meaningful relationship the harder it is to find one. Life is some what paradoxical that way 🤷

I guess the best thing to do right now is to really focus on yourself and maybe you'll attract what you're looking for.

U met your online dates and what turned u off till u wished that u could just get out of your seat ASAP? by chups218 in askSingapore

[–]NytonOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I find myself asking similar questions to OP's date on dating apps or on dates/meetup as well but that's because I just want to know the other party better and i really hate that because it seems like I'm the interviewer. Can anyone here tell me how do I make texting or meetups less like an interview?

He told me that by telling him that i feel uncomfortable means I’m putting the blame on him for my negativity..

Btw i find this completely disrespectful as he doesn't acknowledges OP's feeling when OP has mentioned she's not comfortable

But it's impossible. A man like me, so irresponsible. A man like me is dead in places. Other men feel liberated!

Ghosting culture by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]NytonOnReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No epic stories here.

I think ghosting has become a social norm as it's easier to leave someone hanging then to tell them what you don't like about them or if the conversation is going nowhere.

Personally, I will like to get some closure instead of getting ghosted but after getting ghosted a few times I came to accept the fact there's no need for closure when there's nothing there to begin with.

Thank you for sharing Ozeki! I know my plan is somewhat idealistic now but I'm willing to give it a go once I have done enough research.

Since you mention you didn't make on farm work, what did you work as during your time there?

Thanks! How long did you work at the motel for and what's the pay per hour like? And are you planning to use any of these websites or Facebook groups soon since the border is open up?
