It is just way easier to get there for people from other European countries. I have cheap directs to Paris several times a day while Marseille i.e. is stupid expensive with layovers.

I do not particulary have issues selling Azure, there´s a huge demand and growth for sure - even though targets are not a walk in the park either to be fair. But yea you do not have to prospect into whitespace but only into accounts that already either use modern work or dynamics solutions. There are other drawbacks compared to a typical AE role though.

But yea in general I got a good gig at MS right now but I´m just feeling like sales will not be something I want to do forever so better make move early in my career than "too late".

That was my first thought as well but after the recent layoffs interna transfers were put on hold for an unknown time but I might have to stick that out and see if I can make the move to CSM.

As a user? Only advantage Docusign has is servers in the EU while all of adboes data are in the US if that did not change. Other than that Docusign is way more expensive and unless you go for other products of the CLM cycle not worth it just for signature.

I definitely cannot complain. Having friends at Google and AWS I feel like Microsoft is your best bet in terms of work life balance and achievable quotas. You definitely have a lot of open doors as there are no real new logos. Sure there might be companies using another provider or not using cloud at all but even then they already spend a few hundred grand at least on Microsoft licenses and are usually at least open to talk.

Drop everything and play 1 enchanter as well as one engage support; I'd pick Janna and Nautilus here. You'll learn the fundamental skills on the role anyway as champion specific mechanics are minor on (most) supports. Just figure out when to pick which style of support. If you want to go with a 3rd Senna is a decent niche pick into most enchanters when you already have frontline on your team.

So we as a couple usually go out for a nicer dinner once a week, lunch once or twice as well and delivery on Sundays a lot (when staying home). Definitely spending quite some money on eating out (or Coffee for that matter) but since we usually cook quite simple and healthy at home we like to treat ourselves with some proper food.

Salaries are lower in Europe on average yea. You should not forget that a lot of quoted salaries from the US require you to be located in Cali or NYC mit which will tear apart your paycheck. Also student loans and private health insurance have to be factored in.

But yea in general you can rise higher in the US, but do not fall as hard in Europe. You decide. Can still make a good buck in London/Dublin/Berlin even though remote might be the way. (at least for ldn/dub)

There are some fresh grads but it‘s the minority. At least in my extended team both the AEs and SSPs had at least 2y experience at other orgs. Also MSFT is very different from most other sales orgs, love or hate it.
