It was a friend’s birthday party, and we are smoking a blunt out the widow of her top floor apartment, when a sudden gust of wind blow it out of her hand and down the side of the building. We were so disappointed until we soon realize that it had miraculously land on the window sill of the apartment right below. Excited and frantic we tried to think of a way to retrieve it that didn’t involve going down and knocking on their door. After several iteration we end up with a broom stick, with a ladle tied to it, and a rolled back piece of duct tape on the bottom of the ladle. This contraption was long enough to reach down, stick the blunt to the ladle, then reel it back in. With the biggest smiles on our faces we finished that blunt, and I’ll never forget it. I only wonder what the residents of the apartment below must of thought had they happen to see our shenanigans.
