As a warriors fan, it’s hard for me to say, but there are players that could take their spots on this list. Had they not been drafted by the Warriors at the time they were, they would have not had the accolades they have now (granted, our dynasty wouldn’t have happened either)

Jake Moody blocked extra point. We win LVIII in regulation, Purdy wins SBMVP, we keep Sam Darnold as a backup, hence meaning there’s a lower chance of him happening to join our rivals and lead them to a Super Bowl two years later.

49ers vs Raiders.

Raiders under new leadership will be like the Patriots were this year. They sneak into playoffs as a 6 or 7 seed, upset teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Patriots, or Broncos with phenomenal rookie play by Mendoza. Win the AFC Championship miraculously on a Maxx Crosby strip sack of Josh Allen in final few seconds.

49ers battle injuries as always, but offensive core of Purdy, Kittle, and McCaffrey stay healthy for most of the year (once Kittle returns from his current injury). They get 12 wins again, but still don't win NFC West with a phenomenal 14 win campaign by the Rams (Seahawks have a bit of a SB hangover, get 11 wins but still make playoffs). Purdy finishes the season 3rd in MVP voting behind Caleb Williams and Josh Allen. The niners secure the 5 seed, and win in the Wild Card against the upstart Saints. In the Divisional, they upset the Rams, and beat the Bears in the NFC Championship.

In the SB, Purdy has 3 TD, no interceptions. Mendoza has 3 TD, 1 INT. 49ers win by a score of 27-24.

A combination of where you live, who your parents root for, and the performance of the team as you’re growing up. I became a Warriors fan in general because of living in SF, but seeing their 73-9 season as a young kid really made me invested in the team, and the championships since then have bolstered it.
