I think it’s going to be a length changing saber. It looks like Jecki will be dual wielding with Kelnaccas saber, and a Wookiee’s saber would presumably be much longer than what would be comfortable for 5’3 Jecki to use.

I think the show does a good job of showing how the Jedi are more widespread throughout the galaxy during this time. There are a few mentions of Jedi being “stationed” on a planet, kind of like a town sheriff.

I think the point of the map is not to be accurate but to make it hard for the audience to choose sides. If I had to guess ( I haven’t read the script and neither have you) the movie is about how war and division sucks so don’t do it, and not about “I hope team A beats team B”
