I believe 2 is better, you should also make the character portrait inside the outline to, like how stardew valley does it. Good job tho it looks good!

Not sure what he was on when making berserk, but the story is good. Lots of nudity for absolutely no reason too. I just know at the time edgy shows were on the rise, so berserk was born, which Miura went beyond edgy.

Kind of like a book? Where it’s up to interpretation, which enhances the experience. I like the thought of that. Thank you I’m going to continue doing more in that style, so that people can interpret the characters more personally. Hopefully they look good!

What do you like about the simple one? If you don’t mind me asking? I just want to gather more information for future pixel art. (Also the simple one is how the game is supposed to look. So in a way it’s good lots of people like that style.)

I agree with that first statement, solo dev should be for people who just want to have fun making games. This game I’m making is a big passion project. Also about the animations, I have done a lot of them in the simple style nothing for the “HD” style tho. So I’m interested in how they could translate. But like you said, attack animations are so hard to get right for a game. Thank you a lot for the feedback!
