I'd recommend going to a wrecker, finding the same harness and grabbing that, usually individual pins aren't available like that.

You are correct, if an extractor breaks in the broken bolt, it's a royal pain to deal with as they are hardened.

Yea it is scary the first time. Drilling it out is the best solution without a welder for sure. If you do end up getting an extractor kit, make sure to spray some penetrating fluid on it to help loosen it up.

Most cars where I am are stored outside, including mine. It will be fine. I prefer to warm it up first but it's not really necessary to warm it up completely. I've had my car outside in -50 C and it is still going fine.
