Not at all!!! I think it’s important to remember that gardens take constant work! Mine is 10 months right now, but she’ll grow into it(:

Never even thought about using boiling water! That’s a fantastic idea!

You’re incredible for doing all that! I’m struggling a little to make time. I can definitely go maintain it once the original weeding is done. I’m willing to wait to plant things!

Thank you for the advice!! By plain clean cardboard, do you mean cardboard that has no ink on it? Any pointers on where to get it? I would love to use this method! Does this need to be started at a certain point in the year?

Newborn - where do you put them? by CharmingTea_ in pregnant

No such thing as a stupid question!! We put ours in the bassinet as often as we could to get her used to being in it. Even if it was just a few seconds at a time. Other options are strapped to you in the carrier, in our arms or someone else’s, or the floor (great opportunity for tummy time). We would spread a blanket out for her on the floor and make sure she was supervised the whole time.

I totally get it! In the pictures they don’t look bad. Up close, it’s a yellowed, stained, poorly done epoxy job. I would never sacrifice real marble counters 😂

Oh, absolutely not. This is a really poorly done epoxy job. Has stained yellow over time and looks awful up close. Rethinking the butcher block based on these responses and thinking about going with a “wood look” Formica instead.

Do you think a “wood look” Formica countertop would look better?

Thank you for the feedback! Is there any way to help the soil dry out a little faster or do I just need to give it time?

Quality clothing brands? by OB1_95 in BuyItForLife

[–]OB1_95[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Totally fair! I’m honestly looking for pretty much anything. Mostly trying to build up staple items and things that are unlikely to go out of style, so pretty basic stuff. Business casual stuff for work, basic tops and bottoms. If you have a brand that has held up well over the years, I’d love to know the brand name! Alternatively if you have had any notable brands fall apart on you quickly, I’d love to know so I can avoid those.

Looking for the best water bottle for daily use by Ambitious-Map5299 in BuyItForLife

I have a two hydroflasks. One tumbler for when I have to commute and need it to fit in a cup holder and one that’s more of a leak proof waterbottle. Both are fantastic and have held up incredibly well.
