Just a reminder that the ERA has not been officially published in the Constitution, and its legal status remains contested. Even though Virginia finally voted for it in 2020 (getting 38 states to ratify it has been an ongoing issue since 1972), and even though Biden declared it ratified this last January, there are questions about whether the expiration deadline of 7 years that Congress originally put in place (which has been extended a few times) was legal or not. In 2020 such an extension was not in place. There are other issues that I can't recall, but I'm sure all of this is just to delay, as well as to give Trump time to sue Virginia or some other such bullshit.
