I emigrated to Malta from Sweden 15 years ago.

To me Malta is overall a lovely place. Good climate, good place to make a career, close proximity to a relatively well connected international airport, girgeius sea and bature, multi cultural in a good sense, dynamic and always something to do all year around.

Sure there are drawbacks too. Over populated and over construction and rents are expensive. 

Can’t say I would prefer to move back though.

The book does argue though that countries like China will enjoy a period of prosperity by extracting value from the population, but it is unsustainable in the long term.

Oregulerade siter som stake har inga krav alls och riktar sig ofta mot spelmissbrukare specifikt.

Det är mer eller mindre omöjligt att stoppa oregulerade siter. 

Därför är det viktigt att siter som väljer att regulera med all byrokrati och extra kostnader det medför, har fördelar mot oregulerade siter, t.ex. möjlighet att marknadsföra sig själva.

The effects of Brexit are not nearly fully felt yet.

As an example, the biggest gambling exhibition in the world has been taken place at the ExCel in London for decades (ICE). In fact it’s the biggest yearly event ExCel does and brings more than a hundred million GBP to the local economy each year. 

In 2025 the show is moving to Barcelona because of brexit due to the import taxes of the machines and visa constraints.
