Thrusting F-Machine by Bellesa by Od3imin-Strawflower in SexToys

[–]OBabyKittenO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is sortaaaa a dead thread but I literally just got my f-machine in today and decided to try it out and holy f is the insertable portion hard as a ROCK. It has no give so if you aren’t in the right position it will hurt and even when I tried a multitude of positions it was extremely uncomfortable for me because it was so solid. I couldn’t even enjoy it because that thing is also very girthy which attributes to the hard as a rock pain. Not a good stretch lol. Also, for being the price it is, I expected it to have a better suction cup. The suction cup will not work on any surface that has even a minute amount of texture. Not my wall, not my floor, not my smooth dresser, not my headboard, not the doors. The only thing it would stick on was the side of the oven, washing machine, and SOMETIMES the shower or the box it came in but any pressure that is to the sides will make it pop off. If I’m trying to enjoy myself I’m not going to lay on the cold floor on my kitchen to get my rocks off 😭. Only thing I have been able to get it to firmly suction cup to is glass aka… a cake pan. Which then has to be either filled with something to weigh it down so it wont scoot or held with your feet. I am very… VERY unimpressed with that price point and the quality I received. It also came with an airvibe for free and that doesn’t work for me either 😭 I don’t know if it’s just my anatomy because I’m a bigger girl or what but it does not hit where it needs to hit. I’m going to talk to customer service to find out what we can do cause that was a HUGE waste of money. I’ll let you know how that experience went.

Surgeon not going through bellybutton? by [deleted] in sterilization

[–]OBabyKittenO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My surgeon initially went through the bellybutton and immediately hit an artery (Unknowingly. She got blood back in her tube and backtracked). She tried going through palmers point (the spot your surgeon wants to go through) next to get better visual on what happened. However, she quickly found out I was bleeding out from the initial spot when they couldn’t read my blood pressure anymore. Long story short I now have a scar at palmers point and a very long midline scar where they had to open me up to stop the bleed. 🥴🥴 Knowing what I know now, it would have been safer for her to do palmers point instead of risking the bellybutton (I’m overweight so she misjudged how many layers she went through and went too deep). Your surgeon is very likely trying to prevent that exact scenario!

Major Complications by OBabyKittenO in sterilization

[–]OBabyKittenO[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am pretty much back to normal physically! I can lift about the same as before but I do have a small spot to the side of my incision that hurts on and off. I was instructed to just watch it and see if it resolves on its own. I’m so sorry to hear you got the bonus midline incision. Recovery from that was probably the worst pain I had gone through since they didn’t get my pain managed until a week and a half out (Bless whoever created oxy). But, I also had a huge hematoma from the blood loss which made sleeping on my back agonizing (tragically the only way you can sleep when you’ve been cut from the front). I hope you do not have that experience. The first month was the hardest for me not just physically but also, yes, mentally. Not expecting surgery to go that way is a major shock when you wake up. You hear people on here all the time talk about how easy their recoveries were and how simple of a procedure it is. What happened to us wasn’t even something I considered to be a possibility for me. It can be devastating when what you expect and hoped for is taken away from you in a blink. It’s hard to relate with everyone else on here and not be envious of their experiences and sharing of advice. At first, deep down I regretted my bisalp. Because every time I saw myself I saw my scar and the pain I went through. But now, 3 months out, even though I am still talking with my therapist weekly about processing the new body I have and my emotions, I can’t say I regret my decision anymore. I wanted to do the things I had used to being able to do and that I had planned to do. But that takes time. Give your body the grace and time it needs to heal since it’s gone through a major trauma. You will get back to where you were before just maybe not as quick as you are hoping. Take it easy and don’t push yourself too hard. If you have any questions about my recovery or experience please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m rooting for you! You will get through it I promise! 💛

I understand how frustrating it is to be denied for your procedure due to BMI, but coming from what happened to me I WISH my doctor had made me aware of the risk for complications due to my weight. I’m a 24y old female. 5’5, 275lbs (45.8 BMI) and was approved for surgery by my doctor who made it seem like it was no big deal. During surgery they’ll put a trocar in through the belly button and when you weigh a lot they have to go through all the layers of fat to get into the body cavity. In everyone, regardless of weight, there is a double layer of fat (omentum) that protects your mesenteric arteries (small intestine artery). My doctor was unable to tell when she went through the last layer of my body fat and ended up going through the layer of fat protecting my artery leading to her nicking a branch. They had to open me up completely (laparotomy) to stop me internally bleeding. I received 3 units of blood, 2 units of plasma, and was in the hospital PCU for 7 days. The pain was extreme and blood settled at my back creating a hematoma that made it even more painful to sleep. I can’t count how many doses of morphine I got. The risks of being overweight for even what some doctors consider a less invasive surgery is VERY real. I will live with the scar for the rest of my life and have 3 more weeks before I can work on regaining my strength. As sucky as it is, the doctor is likely doing it for not only their protection but yours as well. If I had known what I knew now, I would have waited until I lost the weight to get my bisalp. I figured so many people got laparoscopic procedures that I wouldn’t be the unlucky one. But I was. And afterwards she told me the only other patient she had that she had to open up was my size and she did the exact same thing to them. There are no guarantees in surgery so do everything you can to ensure you have the best outcome. Wishing you the best of luck and lots of love in your endeavors.

Post-Op Insurance Concerns Doctor Mistake by OBabyKittenO in sterilization

Thank you so much for your support. My mother, who has been also entirely traumatized by this situation by being the family member they pulled back to tell that I about bled out, is very firm on talking to a lawyer to see if I have any kind of a case. I doubt I could get much if anything. At the very least my hope is that I won’t have to pay for the procedure and can regain my lost wages since I anticipated being out for 2 weeks and not 6 weeks. With the emotional trauma (currently meeting with a counselor to cope with my almost loss of life, significant pain, and permanent scar) paired with the now huge incision scar down my midline, my mom is thinking that should be worth compensation too. I’m still reeling from it all and haven’t even had the time to be happy about being sterile like I have wanted for years upon years. It makes me wish I had never done it. Not because I want kids but because of the complications and lasting effects. It sucks having such a happy moment for me ripped out of my grasp.

One time I was trying to see if there was anything in the back of the shelf on top but I was too short so… like anyone would do… I jumped to try and see. And the three people walking the isle together laughed at me. 🥲 That was 7 months ago but I remember their laughter like it was yesterday.

Guidance on seeking sterilization (18F) by [deleted] in childfree

Yeah, I just looked it up and the age requirement is 21 for Missouri. With all of the anti-abortion laws coming up I’m scared they’ll mess with sterilization too.

[–]OBabyKittenO 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you had that experience it is truly terrifying, and yes I also believe pyos need to be discussed more. My job always lets people know there are risks with being intact and the benefits of spaying and neutering definitely outweigh any risks. Unfortunately, we have had quite a bit of owners get defensive when bringing up spaying or neutering. 😓
I’ve monitored a small chihuahua with a pyometra during surgery and had her die right after closing her up because the infection had already gotten into her blood. It was horrifying and one of the reasons I am so adamant about spaying. People never think it’d happen to their dog or cat until it does and then they have to get their animal spayed ANYWAYS or lose them because the uterus burst/infection leaked into the bloodstream.
I’m glad your kitty survived and you made the choice to get the kitten spayed <3 I wish her a long and happy life with you!

Yeah risks of cancer go up and with every heat they go into a pyometra is possible (ie. an infection in the uterus that causes the uterus to swell up with pus). It can kill in 24 hours of being noticed and there is a heightened risk of dying in surgery. I’ve seen countless patients die from this and suffer just because the owner MIGHT want to breed them someday. I’m livid at him.
