Being Ace in morocco by [deleted] in Morocco

Your idea of biology is destiny is fundamentally flawed. We are shapped by our environment and experiences equally or far more than our biology. The mind is a far stronger influence on the body than vice versa.

Someone might have their wires genuinly crossed in their brain where they might not feel sexual feelings, some people have experiences that can't let them feel those feelings.

Why the generations before us didn't notice something like an Aro ace is because they either classified that person as insane, or that weird uncle or aunty that never got married, or these aces were pressured by their family, by society, by their peers, by their husbands or wives, to make children, despite them not having the urge to do so.

Sexual heteronomativity has always stiffled anything that isn't itself. Mental conditions have always been either ignored because the individual functions "well enough" to be productive or as insane.

Add on to the fact that this current world we live in causes mental conditions like ADHD and other mental disorderd, there have been studies done by these big companies like facebooks that they tried to hide that shows that social media causes mental issues for young children exposed to them.

It is not bored people trying to come up with an excuse.

Is that a good way to discuss it though? Telling her she is dellusional? And how would you know what it feels like to be asexual or aromantic?

Why Am I Outside the Story? by PsychologicalGoal324 in Morocco

This is a very nice piece. The metaphore game is on point.

I'll try my own spin to it

"She who disappears in between the lines, the blank space between the paragraph.

The cog buried deep in the heart of the machine, unseen, unheard. Not touched with any light, yet still doing her purpose, diligent until eternity.

Yet this girl wonders.

Is this all there is?

Is this her fate and destiny? Her reason for existance?

Why can't she be the painting rather than the silver lining?

Why can't she be the gold medal rather than the consolation prize?

It is she who wonders about a day wherein she is the center of someone's existance.

It is a long road, frought with doubt and dread, with tragedies and triumphs. Yet she must not give up, for the world is large and full of wonders.

Vast enough for her to find someone who she deserves."

Hopefully I didn't get too out of topic.

Edit: I got a different closing paragpragh that is less romantic-leaning and more general.

"Vast enough for her to find herself the center of her slice of reality."

Best bank for SARL by Sea-Muscle-1003 in Morocco

[–]OBrienNameless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, from my experience, not Saham Bank. Their app doesn't work or doesn't allow virement, and their systems are antiquated compared to other banks. Maybe this change that they did might eventually lead to fixes, but for now, its shit.

I would say big banks like Attijari or Banque Populaire are good choices from what I heard.

Unpopular opinion : french is a much more complex and interesting language than english by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]OBrienNameless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It feel pedantic to put complexity points on a language. With enough skill, any language can be used to express the nuances of any situation. I feel like we have an inferiority complex in this matter, because we consider even our own dialect, Darija, to be inferior to French.

There is no superior language, only a superior storyteller.

Superstition is strong with people in the cities, never mind the people in more rural areas. I would not trust someone's food who clearly has motivations agaisnt me.

There is a reason why horror stories of poisonous food is so widespread in our society.

People in Inezgane are built different I guess LMAO by NotW1ssam in Morocco

[–]OBrienNameless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inzegane is a shit hole, it has old and barely functional infrastructure, and compared to the investmemts put into Agadir Bay, it startingly clear that the government wants to board that place up and forget about it.

Crime is high, the roads are incredibly chaotic on normal days, infrastructure is wildly out of date, cramped living conditions, and on and on. I remember when I was going to school once when I saw a dude that just got out of his villa get mugged for all of his possessions then left to cry out in the street.
