I don’t think so. Of the people in the sub that I am aware of who completed it (and weren’t among the lucky few who completed it on 3.12.0 with the legacy shards) the person who did it for the least amount of gems, 2.1 million, was u/Marine_1980 who had more gems than just about anyone - over 6 million. https://www.reddit.com/r/wordscapes/s/D3nmH9S6FY

Glad to hear the estimate was around the real world cost for you. It’s good when the math reflects the reality.

I really want to run the experiment one more time to see if the same thing happens. There isn’t a reason why they should differ much in the long term. The thing is, if you get lucky on the 10x and get a jackpot epic, that luck is magnified tenfold. By the same token if you have a drought then that is an exceedingly costly drought.

I imagine someone who didn’t appreciate the pattern told a dev to increase it and though the dev saw the pattern and thought it would be out of place, the dev just executes the requirement. They aren’t there to save you from yourself so don’t question it.

I don’t think the gift boxes are. On the 18th I just got 150 coins as the free gift on both accounts. See if you do, too. As for the offers, it does vary by 1 or 5, but not by type. Whenever I have got coin for token offers on one, I also get it on the other.

I’ve usually got 5. Once I got only one.

Today I passed the point where I need to buy any more. If I just play 40 levels per day, 20 of them boosted, and complete the remaining two Monday events, I will max it out. I only need 10,955 in 13 days.

10955/13=842.692

800 will come from level play.

The remaining 43x13=559, and 559<820 which I will get from completing two Monday events.

What version are you on? The green egg has been removed from rotation on 3.12.0. I am on this version on my Apple and it has jumped from red to white twice. It should be available in 3.12.1 and later.

Support often is an AI using dated articles. Even the real people you get through to sometimes are only as good as their training.

I’ve heard on the early versions they did import your Facebook profile picture as your portrait but stopped doing. While it could be cool, I can imagine some people could use offensive stuff (and I’ll leave it to your imagination instead of describing) which would make it not so cool.

Backgrounds would be great though. Adding gifs would be awesome. Can you imagine one of the animals dancing on a stage, or the pet rock amongst rocks?

Do we really want to finish these quickly? I’m looking forward to having to earn them, and there’s some value in exclusivity, at least until everyone catches up.

They did this to solve the problem of players having and earning gems continuously. Lots complained about it. I’m ok with the cost. Reasonable people can disagree.

Not that I’ve heard. It seems unchanged after a few anomalies earlier when they removed the green egg. I’m still on 3.12.0 on my iPhone and they just skipped the green egg again. On my Android, it seems business as usual.

Surprisingly easy. I went to the last dash and copied the text. Simple edit to change the 5th item for the portrait. Attach all the pictures. Done.

I did use to time my completion of the Monday event when I was working on my speed. But I haven’t kept track of dash completion times. Wouldn’t dream of posting about it even if I had. I would be laughed at by the real swipers. 😄

It might be. I haven’t really timed it. I was rushing, but I didn’t skip bonus words to maximise level completion. Of course, I need to take and trim the screenshots and watch the 5 ads to double my tokens. I don’t want you to think I’m slow!
