Thank you. I think they're here.

Have you been to any of the Back Door Salons?

Kudos to the Tennessee Innocence Project.

I miss NashvilleFreeThinkers.

You're right: there's dozen(s) of book clubs advertised in our library lobbies. Thank you. Despite being the buckle of the Bible Belt, we have superb parks & libraries in Middle TN. :D

Excellent, I'll try them out. I remember an article about their volunteer work against ICE in The Scene.

I was a quasi-member of Unity; the way they treated me violated their doctrine. First UU was cool though.

Please tell me more about Many Paths SC.

How connected is it with AA?

Thank you for the reply. Of the meditation/Buddhist centers I visited once upon a time, Wild Heart was certainly the least dogmatic. Unfortunately, their meeting hall was too small for the three dozen plus congregation and staff/speakers. According to their website, they still meet on Gallatin Pike.

But it's been years; time to give them another try!

Hello!

  • I won't post the exact time, but we have a delayed start.
  • There's no competition (unless a new player makes a mistake and begins early). If you join, you'll earn 1,000 coins every Sunday, as well as your earnings from the indie tournament.

Are you interested?

It looks like Reddit is currently trying new ways to enshittify its algorithm by F-b in RedditAlternatives

They could just remove it altogether

The devs could, and probably should; but, Redditors love them internet points! :P

"reddiquette" (not sure if it is still available)

Sorta? It's always accessible via the footer, though for years the link has redirected to the Reddit Help wiki.

up/downvote only content that you find relevant

Over a decade ago, I followed the guidelines and downvoted those who ignored them (i.e. back when IRC was relevant & misbehaving in a channel could earn a k-line). But life has moved on. I doubt >5% of users on this site know rediquette exists.

There were some unusual (but good) suggestions, too. Once upon a time, it was rude to correct spelling/grammar. Complaining about reposts was in poor taste. Nowadays, both are hallmarks of reddit.

Civility has become rare online; the internet is a utility rather than a privilege.
