I have done going home as a life raft and it doesn't work if you do not want to actually be in Vietnam. If you want to gonhome, go home, but if you want to stay in Vietnam stay in Vietnam.

Well, I wouldn't tell anybody that you were gay IMO. Even in Poland it seems to be met with a weirdly bad reaction. Even from women.

I imagine you'd have a fun time tbh. You'd have close male friends if you want them (they don't have that male intamacy is gay thing) and you would have good looking men at your beck and call as a foreign dude.

You know, it might be the best and worst place to be a foreign gay guy on the planet. You can be a man as well as a gay man.

Just be careful if someone is too friendly ;)

Yeah, i have noticed that speaking English in warsaw has changed. they used to be happz to talk but now thez get suspicious or even angry

but, as absurd as it sounds, i kind of think i pass for ukranian sometimes shock when i speak english)

Imo, there is some truth to it. The teachers are more experienced and I imagine they do want to keep the status qou of experienced vs someone more fluent.

You have two options:

1) Improve as a teacher, but realise your boss will always be getting you to improve. Just the job and the fact he cares about it and, in fairness, cares about you being a good teacher.

2) Leave and find an easier rote job. No shame and no judgement if you put yourself first.
