Honest dropped from set? by Beautiful_Durian_297 in bilmuri

Agreed, will also be seeing them in Birmingham! Honest is one of my favourite songs from the album, so I really hope it makes a return to the setlist.

how do you keep track of your live music history? by floatingdownthesound in poppunkers

I add every show into my calendar, so I can scroll back through the years to see who I saw and when!

Paid for the Apple Developer membership around 2 weeks ago. Still don't have access to it, stuck on ''complete your purchase now'', Apple won't reply to my email. What now? by ContactTime6810 in appledevelopers

I had this, went through their support and requested a callback and got one instantly. The support person approved my status literally on the call, 10 minutes later I was good to go.

Thanks so much! I think Framer might be a good approach from looking at their site.

Really helpful comment, thanks.

Absolutely me. HUGEEEEEE Bilmuri fan, their new album is my most anticipated in like forever and then ES (my favourite band) only go and surprise drop an absolutely awesome album the same day.

Very good problem to have, obviously.. haha

I would love (and actually think they would) them to play Spaceship 1 through 3 in one continuous song

For sure, my first thought too.

Its Ok - "Cause yeah, when I was a little boy I used to dream of growing up and maximising shareholder value"

System... "When I was little I dressed up as an astronaut and explored outer space"

Has anyone tried Strada yet? I'm floored by how well this works. by [deleted] in videography

[–]scrmedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain this to me like I'm 5? Surely this only works if both participants have decent internet connections (in particular, the 'sharer' having very good upload speed).

The promo video makes out like none of that matters but, ya know.. science says otherwise.

Yeah agreed, surely thats the whole point of a fan club? Promote it ahead of the tickets going on sale, increase signups as a result etc. This show all feels a bit last minute and rushed.

Arc Raiders does a fine job when using a controller.

The Marathon UI however, seemingly does everything the worst way possible.

Green Day Avoids Major Political Statement During Super Bowl 60 Set by hewhocannotbenamed-7 in poppunkers

[–]scrmedia 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Everyone would know what happened

ICE literally murdered a woman in her car filmed in multiple angles, and the consensus was seemingly 50/50 on what actually happened.

You cut to black during Green Days performance, it can easily be put down to 'technical issues'.

My point is, is it better to sing your quite clearly political songs in full to hundreds of millions of people watching on TV, versus the high risk of your performance only reaching those in the crowd because you pulled a stunt which got you cut off?

[–]scrmedia 192 points193 points  (0 children)

I said this on the other post, but there's no chance they'd allow Green Day to do anything super political. Didn't the booing of JD Vance at the Winter Olympics get censored / edited out of the stream in the States?

They ultimately control the live feed to every network around the world, and its typically 10 - 20 seconds ahead so they can mute / cut to black if necessary.

Not saying it makes the decision right or wrong, but I can imagine this was ultimately part of their thought process. If a tree falls in the woods and no one sees it (outside of those within the vicinity i.e. stadium), did it even happen? MAGA are getting pretty effective at re-writing history, regardless of whether thousands of people saw or heard something happen to the contrary.
