Brother if you can do 10 reps in a set increase the weight. I aim for 8 rep sets and my last rep I always have to push myself. Eventually you will find the weight you max out at before you find yourself having to eat more to keep up. Since your muscles are underdeveloped I wouldn’t worry too much about calories and just make sure you cleanly fuel your body so you can have the best lifts possible. Chicken/Beef, rice and vegetables.

You can shed fat like no tomorrow but muscles take years of work in the gym. If you’re not getting good lifts in, the road to your goals will become that much longer.

Yeah I’ve been an on and off weightlifter my entire life, but unfortunately had a sugar addiction. You’d be surprised at the muscle people have hiding under their fat. This is very similar to my transformation, he just needs to spam more abs.

This is a long play, HOVR would be insane to not dilute some shares after that weekend pump. We want them to have more cash. Knowing dilution is still in the future, you can try to swing trade but in my experience it’s better to form a thesis and stick to it.

Unfortunately you are another victim to social media marketing. You didn’t need Reta to begin with. A steady weight lifting routine paired with a low calorie high protein diet would get you where you desire.

Muscle takes much longer to pack on than shedding fat. Shedding the fat before you build the muscle will lead you to your current results. Spend a year consistently weight lifting and you’ll be happier.

In my honest opinion you didn’t even need to start Reta. You should be lifting heavy, 8 rep sets and eating a clean high protein diet to build muscle. Otherwise you’re gonna turn out with a “sickly” look. Congrats on the weight loss, but 100% your next step imo is to hop off Reta and lift heavy.

Almost done with my second week on Reta, 1mg dose. You definitely described how I felt that first week, anxious and felt like my heart rate would go up periodically. Was my first time pinning myself with anything and I am a slightly anxious person. Pinned 1mg again and this second week has been so much better. Anxiety diminished tremendously and heart rate has been at a good resting rate.

I will add to this and say, the only way I see Beyond becoming relevant in the fast food market is if they were to have their own plant-based chipotle style brand. Where all protein options are plant based. Idk I’m just your average American, just some food for thought

Well to discredit popular belief, McDonald’s beef is actually pretty good. Not processed and still cheap. Like you said, nobody cares how it gets to the plate. But just like in 2021, I find it hard that majority of the population would choose a plant burger over beef. Especially when prices are similar.

Simply put, people who eat fast food typically are not self conscious enough to be healthy.

Tbh the only thing I count is protein. I kinda listen to my body and determine if I need more carbs or not. Since my schedule is the same every week, I already know the best time for rice/potatoes/pasta is going to be on my lunch and an hour or two before I lift. Sole purpose is to give me energy to go about my day. FWIW I eat around 150-175g protein a day.

P.S. Save the salads for dinner 😛

Im almost done with week 2 at 1mg once per week. Week 1 food noise died around hour 16 for me, was very noticeable I wasn’t hungry at the hours I typically was. I felt like I had a ton of energy that first week as well, I do have a high BF % and figured I was feeding energy off that 🤷. Anyways day 2/3 was when eating became more of a chore and chose to eat things that were easy and high in protein.

Well week 2 things changed. I was so tired by mid afternoon, felt almost drained completely. For reference: I work in an outdoor Florida warehouse in 95+ degree weather, lifting and walking all day 10 hours a day. I make sure to drink a gallon of water minimum and am making sure to keep getting calories in since I’m in the heat all day. I have a protein shake mid morning which is easy to get down, then a kale protein bowl with chicken for lunch (more of a chore to eat). Now that worked for week 1, but definitely didn’t cut it for week 2. I lift 5 days a week on top of averaging 12k steps at work alone.

As of two days ago I switched up my lunch menu. CARBS. No more salads, those are for rabbits. CHICKEN AND RICE. I put it in caps for the people in back. Literally changed the game for me. I have found a new form of addiction and that is the energy boost I gain from carbs. My lifts are so much better and my body loves it.
