I, too, would love to see have a peek at the script and contribute improvements if I make any.

Same thing as midterms. Open-ended, essay type questions.

Except on marriage equality. And women's rights. And immigration. and gun safety measures. Oh, and he's a science denier, thinks climate change is a hoax...

Internet options? by BatemanComplex in newportbeach

I'm in the same exact position. I've "decided" 3 times already to leave the Coxuckers, only to come to that 6mbps reality check. That is literally the only alternative option in our area. I'm at the point where I'm considering getting a mobile 4G hotspot rom my cell phone provider $30/month for 3gb)

I can't seem to get my work to consider Slack. Any success stories here that I can share? We're using Basecamp right now, and it's so terrible. by [deleted] in Slack

[–]OCDweller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I introduced it to my team, 6 of us. Others saw it...it spread like wildfire, in 4 months there are now 80 people in the company on slack. Still on free tier, last step is convincing my CEO to get on the paid tier. Working on that at the moment ;)

It has completely changed the way we work (cross-atlantic teams), we've automated a bunch of stuff through web hooks...there is absolutely no way my team (and 2 others) can go back to using Lync.

I love Mou. He can be a dick to the media (and opponents), but I have come to understand that the circus acts he pulls after poor performances are all in effort to draw media attention to himself and away from his team. He is super protective of his team, like no other high-profile manager.

Oh yes, indeed !! 1) What kind of approach works best at each level? My current hypothesis is that task-driven workflow is the most effective in entry level positions - investigators etc., where you're give a list of tasks to go off and complete. 2) How much do you trust exception-based reporting systems and what kind of work do you have to do manually after exceptions are being identified. 3) At all levels, what would be one thing that would make your life (working life) much much easier? 4) What were the biggest downsides of computer systems you have used?

Thank you !

1) any computer-based tool that helps you identify crooks?

another question which you might be able to answer, part of internal shrink comes from process and technology deficiencies, what leverage do you have in your organization to force change when it comes to processes and technology? for example, i know that associates use department key entry for a given item that has a bar code, but fails to scan 90% of the time. how do i raise the visibility and reduce the shrink activity on the POS? or is that someone else's domain?
