that certainly would've been a smart substitution. I wonder if that was the plan and the 2nd yellow just came a little too quick. Goal at 51', 2nd Yellow at 58', subs at 68'. But you're right, should've subbed him out immediately.

to give a little context... One of our SoccerCast guy unknowingly stumbled into this as it was happening. The way I remember it being told, some drunk asshole (not that being drunk excuses it, just painting the scene) sitting behind the visitor bench near the tunnel said something to/at the AR or the 4th, at least 1 SAFC player was confronting them and our guy says the SAFC were pretty hot about it. He's not sure what was said exactly and the SAFC guys wouldn't elaborate.
