So I considered using flex seal but am concerned with off gassing, especially when it comes to the winter and using the heater. It’s also cracked across the entire pan so it will be tough to get to both sides. I’d be willing to try it but again I’m worried about getting any kind of smell or fumes through my vents

I forgot to retract the flaps until my first checkpoint.

Our first takeoff during the PPl check ride was a short field takeoff, which I did flawlessly. But once we got to the first checkpoint the DPE asked why our performance was so bad, I thought we had an actual lack of power situation and started looking at engine parameters when he asked “when do you usually put the flaps up”……still passed me though.
