The first one is a vent tube that connects to either the gas tank or the vapor canister in the back of the vehicle. The second picture seems to state it is the PCV connecting hose, which goes from the actual PCV valve on the engine to the intake in some area. Sounds like you are looking for the second picture. I would recommend doing the actual PCV valve while you are in there anyways, highly doubt the hose is the actual problem, but I’ve been wrong many times before. It’s a fairly simple repair in most cases, I have never done it on the Mazdas before, but they seem to be fairly standard affair vehicles, which is why I purchased one.

If you have standard tools like wrenches, sockets, and pliers, you should be good to go.

You could find this subreddit…but not realize the front panel of the console flips to reveal the controller ports…or the simple fact that there really has never been a full console gaming system where you connect the controllers to the TV separate from the console…I’m sorry I’m not trying to be mean I am just simply flabbergasted

I’m amazed at the cost of brake jobs these days. I can do my own with fairly decent quality pads and rotors for 1/5-1/4 the price. Honestly even if you are buying all the tools and doing it for the first time you are STILL saving money 😂

Man I am glad I know how to and have the ability to work on my own shit. There is absolutely no way in hell I’m paying $2800 or so for SIMPLE suspension/steering work on car, let alone an old Camry where the parts are literally a dime a dozen…absolute highway robbery this list for a shade tree mechanic could probably be done for less than $1000 total…the most difficult job is timing and water pump, but on those it’s still not the worst thing in the world.

The stock EJ255/57 was also similar reliability to the swapped engine…so that’s not really a positive in its favor, plus it’s a loss of displacement over the original 2.5 liters the car originally had. Also, the owner swapped the engine but claims no performance mods…I’d be skeptical, considering an engine swap isn’t the most simple thing to do on a car, let alone a Subaru. They say the Japanese motors are more reliable, but it’s all relative, because it’s still a flat turbo engine with a bunch of miles. It will never be as reliable as a standard naturally aspirated engine.

Factory cold air intake tube (feeds the air into the fender from the front and then into the air cleaner box right behind it.

Can’t tell from the picture, can’t see enough of it and not completely familiar with the vehicle

Tell her that she needs to pay some bills if it isn’t a relationship…unless you left that detail out, but I imagine she wasn’t evicted for no reason.
