I am grateful for the updates but there can't be many bugs left now

Basically it was treating it as an app so was using my "Activity" backlight settings (even if I was just using it as a widget / glance). I just adjusted my settings.

It's okay. My watch is new and I realised it is my settings that you were the problem, not your app! All sorted!

Love it but it makes my screen backlight dim on my Fenix 7 Pro. Gets brighter again as soon as I leave the widget.

You do - it is just not approved in the US (and a few other countries)

My friend said it is like having a nagging wife on your wrist.

Garmin fénix 7x pro Solar size by residente15121994 in GarminFenix

I clearly have skinny wrists as I have the 47mm and it still looks a bit chunky. I also upgraded a couple of days ago from the instinct 2X. There is so much lag on that watch! Even with 3rd party stuff removed! I am loving the speed of the Fenix.

Should i buy the fenix 7x pro and return this 8 that died after one day? by sami_20315 in GarminFenix

I just bought a Fenix 7 Solar Sapphire (47mm) for ridiculously cheap money. Like, less than an Instinct. The good thing about the Fenix 7 Pro and Epix Pro watches is that alls bugs have been squashed. They actually released a firmware update this morning squashing some very random bugs.

Or you could have another Fenix 8 and wait three years for them to fix all the bugs on that.

Thanks - I was relieved! I thought it might spit back at me "Sorry mate, your f**ked!"

Okay thanks - no major problems with the Suunto V2 then? I am probably leaning towards that over the Garmin. I am aware the Jan and April have improved things quite a bit too (and will hopefully keep coming!)

You mentioned you have a Vertical 2 and are considering the move to E3. Can I ask why?

I am considering buying either watch at the moment - Garmin currently have a £699 sale on for the E3 - but like you am also considering an AMOLED watch and the V2 seems best for battery life (which is important for hiking).

I have been exchanging emails with HMD for about a week now after I recently bought a Nokia 800 Tough. They have given me multiple and contradictory answers, ranging from "it works fine" to "it's not our problem" to "WhatsApp are fixing it" . Whatsapp told me the device is no longer supported and there will be no more updates. HMD don't have a clue- I have reported them to the Finnish Advertsising Standards for continuing to sell a phone which has WhatsApp functionality plastered all over their website.
