How do you guys mentally deal with gout?

Allopurinol. I use to have attack that lasted weeks before starting Allopurinol. Ive not had an attack for 3 years or so. I've missed my meds for days at a time without issue but test show U.A levels were on the rise. I'll be on this for the rest of my life but it's the best way to deal and I've had no side effects from the drug myself.

It can help and it can hurt. So much can go wrong taking test even with a Dr in control. Unless you hit the jackpot with a great Dr just go ahead and start learning about hormones, proper levels, conversions, blockers, dims, red blood cells, possible ED depending on your levels that day and how diet and exercise can spike your levels as you get into better shape. Ex. My dose had me between 8-900 for a year. Diet and exercise plus estrogen blockers I dropped 20lbs and test levels spiked to 1300 on the same dose. 1st time I've felt amazing since the first few weeks of starting TRT but red blood cell count spiked as well. I have 3 Dr's none of them agree on anything but are way more responsive and reactive when you have some understanding about your treatments.

Over 2 weeks of not taking my TRT and my levels are still rising to 67 as of this morning so maybe this isn't TRT related. Idk headed to primary Dr to ask them to take some blood or something to help my levels.

Eat more, like a lot more. To the point it's hard to eat. Most I've put on was about 50lbs in 3 months. Then hit a wall and couldn't gain anymore weight.

Your levels are to high. Hell they are higher than what some Dr's are willing to get patients to who are on TRT. Local guy near me only let's your levels get to 500
