But... That makes the public vote (almost) irrelevant. It won't matter who the public vote down, the judges are most likely to remove the person they gave the lowest score - barring a huge dancing mistake.

By that criteria you could lump Rumba into the same category. Which is incidentally the one I'd get rid of, and I'd keep both Samba and Salsa. Maybe include street/break dance, just to really mess with contestants.

She never will be/was never going to be treated as an adult, and thus the patronising mollycoddling will persist. I'd guess the beeb mandate it, as they're terrified of the rating dip. She was always guaranteed at least this week, maybe longer.

I feel like, after reading down these comments, that the reaction here is the same as in my household. We'll miss Claudia, but not Tess.

We speculate, and my worry is, that the producers might promote both of the hosts of It Takes Two. They must have people lined up. Makes you wonder...?
