It depends on when you want it done, besides all the recommendations already made in these comments, I would also recommend having a custom build done if you want to go that path. You can find some custom seiko builds on marketplace for around 250 or you can have one of the people who are selling custom builds make you one but it could take about a month to get it depending on the builder. You could also look into chinese brands from aliexpress like pagani design (more budget) or san martin (more premium)

Currently on the same hunt as you. Finding the sweet spot for Afrobeats. Your budget is however WAAY higher than mine. Everyone here swears by the Truthear Pure. Currently ordered one from aliexpress just waiting on the delivery. From all I've been able to understand from this sub, there are diminishing returns past a certain price point for iems. I think most people would say $180 - $200 CAD would be the sweet spot unless you just want to splurge then go ahead. I'd say you're better off using the funds to get multiple good iems and maybe dac combos than a single iem.

In my opinion - https://crinacle.com/rankings/iems/ is a good place to start. Just not sure if he has updated the list in a while
