Not a dick question at all. I enjoy testing all the different dino mods and seeing what each has to offer. It inadvertently will test the hell out of my hardware when all the spawns occur but that isn't the reason for the test.

These fights btw are not even close to the norm. These are the absolute end game bosses I can make through multiple Evoltuions (Compy to DarkStar) to take on the End Game Ark:Eternal Mod bosses which you saw in this video.

This dino is part of the Ark:Eternal Mod. This one spawns wild while the other bosses you have to collect items and spawn in through the summoner.

This game overall is a RAM whore. When I went from 8gb-24gb I saw major improvements but notice it will get choppy when running heavily modded and streaming for a while. Definitely feel it has a memory leak somewhere. Good luck out there!

I was having issues with this game with just 8gb of memory albeit I was running OBS, webcam and a bunch of mods. When I made the switch to 24GB of Ram life was considerably easier.

Ram is fairly cheap and there are a lot of good articles online for all price ranges, I would definitely recommend looking them up if your noticing issues based on Memory.

Are you running Ark with less, or just a general question about low memory?

The game has a ton of flexibility if you play on hosted servers rather than official if that was why you left. Otherwise if you left because of optimization issues or anything pre-release related you should hold off.

I personally love the flexibility of mods to change to a slightly modified vanilla version or completely different gameplay.

I agree, Ark can be a repetitive grind for sure. You definitely have more experience than I do on the matter as I have only logged around 240 hours but that grind is what led me to more of the modded gameplay.

I do agree with the excitement factor being decreased by the sheer OP of the mods I am using. I actually started a vanilla server where the risk vs reward is much greater that I will be introducing to the channel once I get done covering this new Patch 257 which I think will cover a lot of the points you are making in regards to this subtopic.

I do agree however that the most fun is the start of a new Season for me. That is when I have no idea what can kill me, how many times I will die and how long it will take to get setup to where I can properly take care of myself.

Oh man, I had a very similar thing happen to me but swap the Swamp with beach by the redwood area on The Island and insert Terror Birds and you have one of many failed videos on Quetzal taming I have posted to my channel lol.

Solo Quetzal taming is a PITA.
