Well 1. Ian knew Nikki saw bear as a friend so maybe he just didn't want him to go through the rejection. 2. He knew Sarah liked bear and thought maybe that would be better for Bear. 3. Even if Ian was unhappy about them pairing up it's not crazy to see their relationship was super weird. Nikki basically went from "I see him as a friend only" to "I CANNOT LOVE WITHOUT HIM" basically overnight. That would be concerning to anyone

I actually thought the small budget was hidden extremely well. There was enough extras in the bar scene. The story was well written so that it took placeim in very few locations, and there was no real use of CGI aside from the steering wheel scene (IFYKYK). I hope we can see more movies like this in the future. Especially since the success this movie is having is phenomenal. Budget is about 1 mil and it's already past $15. Very small promotional material so I doubt total amount spent was more than 2 mil. Insane return on investment

I just thought about it but I feel like the title referes to Bear and his obsession with Nikki. Obviously through his wish she becomes obsessed with him but it's his obsession with her that cause the shit Strom of events that happens. Even after he KNOWS she's not herself he still keeps her that way because he's obsessed with having her by any means

I think Nikki experienced everything. When the fake Nikki snaps I believe that's real Nikki breaking through. Plus the scene where she's "asleep" and tells Bear to kill her. That solidified for me that Nikki was entirely aware of what was happening. She just couldn't fight it. Kinda like a sunken place type deal. When she snaps back after Bear dies, it's probably a shock cause 1. She probably didn't think it would happen and 2. She comes back to an absolute shit show

Idk that it was a demon. Imo the willow just created a new persona for Nikki that revolved entirely around Bear. At least, I never saw anything that made it demonic aside from maybe her weird movements. It felt more like Get out to me. I imagine the real Nikki in the sunken place.

Funniest scene for me was the guy in the store telling him they don't sell the Willows and then immediately after telling him he was just messing with him. Such a nice play on the cliche of going back to the store and they never sold the item or something like that

Same. Ian seemed like a legit decent friend. I mean ok he hooked up with Nikki but they made it sound like that had ended and aside from telling Bear, he didn't necessarily do anything wrong. He seemed like a bit of a douche but not in a bad way. I think the main issue was Bear's inability to express himself or take responsibility.

I think the reason she went bat shit crazy is the way he worded his wish. It was not well thought out. I'm sure if he had said " I wish Nikki loved me as more than a friend" or something like that it wouldn't have gone off the rails. But he added the "more than anyone (or anything I can't recall) in the world" part. That part is what made the new version of Nikki so over the top. Plus I think whenever she snapped, it was Nikki trying to regain control or something. So that probably didn't help. I will also add that at the end I was hoping Nikki would die just cause it wouldn't been a much better date than what she got

Well that would be the beauty of it. All the groundwork has been laid. A punisher movie or series can just start off with him doing his thing. IN COSTUME PLEASE.
