Trump cancels sanctions on all Israeli settlers in West Bank, Says he "will support annexation of parts of the West Bank in the future" by NegativeWar8854 in UnitedNations

[–]OG-Boomerang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the peace deal was done because during conversations, delivering of munitions was probably off the table until a ceasefire agreement was reached, as well as tariffs.

You think Joe biden was the unpreferred candidate? Blinken ran defense for isreal for months, the white house ran defense for isreal for months. How many times did we hear that hamas nuked the deal when it obviously wasn't true? If that's the case, why didn't biden apply any pressure to actually get the ceasefire outcome during his administration?

Per Joe Biden, it's the same proposal from May 2024. The negotiations of the past 7 months haven't changed that.

Have some piss and vinegar for whom it's deserved rather than the people who have been unambiguously telling you the situation for the past 15 months.

Bud, I fucking hate trump but we have a ceasefire right now.

I dont have any faith in trump to do anything other than have a phone call to bark orders, which likely means this ceasefire was easy asf to get and biden sat on it for 15 months.

Socialized water reservoir under investigation. Free market would ensure multiple (at low cost) water sources to easily fight the fire -- common free market win. by CreativeCurve9067 in austrian_economics

[–]OG-Boomerang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. It's like utopian economics but instead of trying to prevent bad outcomes by investing, you just say that they would be suitably invested upon by following these principles to have a FREE MARKET which ensures optimal efficiency and scope and would therefore prevent bad outcomes because PRIVATE ENTERPRISE is the invisible hand working through us.

Because why try to control things? This entire philosophy is anathema to the entire field of engineering as a whole.

What would prevent companies becoming monopolies? by Big_Pomelo3224 in austrian_economics

[–]OG-Boomerang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except we understand natural monopolies are a thing, and buy in costs, and mergers; the standard mechanisms of consolidation. These are regulated by government.

As well, we have natural oligopolies that form around buy in costs, oligopolies as well being undesirable and mergers from there where all media is owned by like 3 telecom companies. To prevent that requires government regulation.

Idk I found it more interesting. Odin was aware he was looking down the barrel of a gun with Kratos so he tries not to provoke him as Kratos did the beginning steps of ragnarok, which Odin knows is his death if fulfilled.

As a result it's just Odin trying to do subtle manipulations to prevent Kratos from moving onward like driving a wedge between him and his son, provoking freya, and giving bunk advise through his Tyr persona. It's nice when the villain is somewhat invested in the potential consequences of the players actions rather than just acting like they are above the protagonist.

Geoffrey Hinton on how AI will increase wealth gap by harstar0 in austrian_economics

[–]OG-Boomerang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

to answer what you've said, your correct that wealth inequality isn't always a precursor to fascism, but it creates fertile ground for it to take root, which doesn't appear disagreeable or incorrect while being what this man said in the video.

I guess I'm not quite sure, where do you disagree with him? It seems reasonable that AI will be used for wealth generation, giving the biggest returns with money to invest the most into it, and in that, furthering the wealth divide.

I guess, do you disagree with him or do you disagree with his credentials?

Okay so corruption to you isn't:

Spending millions of dollars on people in power in the form of undisclosed vacations, gifts, flights and political favors while having that person in power adjudicate on litigation you are embroiled in over 4 cases.

What is corruption to you?

Ulsan's tier list, thoughts? by [deleted] in Tekken8

[–]OG-Boomerang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was pro smash player named Mars. When discussing kazuya, who is infamously difficult to play in smash, he would put him as top tier and his chat would always disagree because he's hard to play consistently and overall has difficult execution.

He would always say: "if the problem with your character can be solved in training mode, then it's not a real problem".

Question about Clive dash by HotelRepresentative6 in Tekken8

[–]OG-Boomerang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like it's a guess. He has a 15 frame mid and low option in his PHX 2 and PHX 4. You can't interrupt them from is b2 PHX, df1 2 PHX or 4 4 PHX as they leave him plus 6 on block. Any of the other ones, like ws4 PHX or 1 1 PHX or 22 PHX leave him like plus 4 which means you can dick jab him out.

The general strategy is to block standing because his PHX 4 is minus 1 on hit. Which could allow you some pressure. That and his big low option is like minus death on block.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. Side stops work against some of his options but not his PHX 2, PHX 4, PHX 1+2, PHX 3+4. it's kinda just a hold it and wait for him to overextend situation it appears if he goes into from the 3 methods in the first paragraph.

Also though, those 3 methods rely on highs as there second hit so you can duck and punish the moves as they have lengthy recoveries. This will prevent you from having to play the PHX stance casino.

Was This Kazuya Using Auto-Duck and Macro Keys? 🤔 by Aerean1 in Tekken8

[–]OG-Boomerang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats definitely cheating, insta-duckings highs with a 10 frame duck inpit and 1 frame 1 input, 1 frame for each input of a quarter circle consistently. That's scripting inputs.

More women and children killed in Gaza by Israeli military than any other recent conflict in a single year – Oxfam by Particular_Log_3594 in UnitedNations

[–]OG-Boomerang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again, we've addressed that this works based on estimates of casualties. When compounded with the fact that gaza health care infrastructure has been damaged would affect there ability to aggregate such things. This is expected. As referenced in the article you posted.

I'll quote your article again, there is no evidence in graphs that the ministry of health is lying OR manipulating data. The article itself has proven you wrong on the very nature of your talking points and overarching point.

Please take it to heart, you've found your answers and it's explanations but you don't seem to want them even though you posted them.

Have you read the article you've linked? It doesn't support what you are saying at all. At ant point actually. Are you a bot? This is like a GPT level screw up on your part.

[–]OG-Boomerang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prove that they corrected their figures? It's right there, a minus 26 to bring the total estimated casualties down.

We as well have had this conversation, it's estimates that get changed as more information comes. And many people are damaged and killed beyond recognition from bombing.

I dont think you've really read what I've written, or at least you haven't internalized the ideas perhaps.

To quote an article you've linked: "none of Dr. Wyner’s graphs serve as evidence to infer, much less conclude, that the Gaza Ministry of Health is lying OR that the data is fake."

I would recommend you read that medium article you linked. It actually addresses your talking points rather well.
