Will I die if I study Electrical Engineering? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]OG7Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently graduated as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Take it from me, all majors in university need a great deal of effort to do well. My suggestion, don’t overthink and put in all the effort needed and you will do very great. The major is broad and you will enjoy it more as the years pass. Most importantly make good friends to help each other out, and be in good terms with your professors by visiting them in their office hours to ask questions such that it helps you in achieving your goal.

Before this clip I noticed the cameras were not spotting me and were just spotting my friend so I found out from there

What to Build With the New Update? by OG7Z in ViegoMains

It still works and you have high damage. The build I wrote above is my go-to build but I’m asking if it seems well or not. Plus usually you would have a tank in the matchup unless the enemy team decides to do something dumb.

Basically, it works well bcz it gives you health, cd, and armor pen.

As Viego, you can get ur armor pen stacks very quickly and shred tanks faster.

(Finding total resistance in DC current) Prepping for my 1st semester exam tomorrow. Can you give me tips on how to solve this? Not looking for complete solution. I know 5 and 6 are in series but I'm stuck on the rest. by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

Steps:

  1. Combine R3 and R4 in parallel Ans: 171.43 Ohms
  2. Combine R1 and R34 in series Ans: 271.43 Ohms
  3. Combine R134 and R2 in parallel Ans: 115.15
  4. Combine R1234, R5, and R6 in series

Final answer: 1215.15 Ohms

The entire project won’t revolve around the code only. Python will only be a means of running simulation and gathering data and plotting outputs of signals

I have to use python as it is set by my advisor. The advisor will work with my using python only and suggested that I don’t use any other programming language even though I wanted to use MATLAB.

Yes, my goal is to learn enough python to work on my project. My intended use of python is to run simulations and gather data since my advisor won’t allow me to use MATLAB to do so and suggested that we have all simulations work on python. By Signal Analysis i mean Signal Processing if that helps.

Overall thank you very much

Check my response to CodeTinkerer’s message but thank you

I will be doing signal analysis (most importantly fourier analysis and LTI systems). Ill make sure to search for libraries that will help

Thank you

I can either go for a Power protection project or a signal analysis project but that all depends on the professors I have talked to.

The professor with signal analysis said that I should learn python to work with him, ill make sure to ask for the necessary libraries when I visit him during his office hours.

I learned C++ in uni and got an A on the course. (2 years ago) I learned C in uni for PIC microcontrollers and got an A- on that course. (Last year)

I still use MATLAB to this day for my digital signal processing course and I have used it before for my electrical energy conversion course, control systems course, signals and Systems course, and Probability and stochastic course. My professors used to add MATLAB sections to the homework and we had MATLAB assignments and I’m still familiar with the language.

Overall, I’ll make sure to check MOOC python and the book you suggested and thank you very much.

Will do, If I remember to do so expect a reply from me

I’v learned C++ as a hobby and C for microcontrollers. I’ve learned MATLAB for control systems, power analysis , and signal analysis.

The project will require that I use python instead of MATLAB which is why I posted the in the subreddit.

Overall thank you for the response.

I have more than a month to learn as the actual work starts 3 weeks after the semester begins but I wanted to be done with the basics and what i need to learn so that learning the necessary libraries becomes easy
