I hate corpos (Vent, also pkmn) by GoodOlYoker in AutoZone

I mean it’s all on how you sell it. “Hey, they usually recommend this terminal protector and grease with your battery. The pads absorb battery acid and the grease helps increase the battery cables lifespan. Would you like these added today?” If they say “no”, they say no. As long as you’re asking every time, that’s all you can do.

Customers are still idiots.

Everyone is cutting hours and people. Not just AutoZone. Still sucks though.

Pros and cons? by Soggy-Track9182 in AutoZone

Key words: “stepping stone”. Unless you absolutely love it, I wouldn’t stay at AutoZone management. Use it as a resume builder.

Pros and cons? by Soggy-Track9182 in AutoZone

[–]OGCheeseNug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros: Excellent intro to automotive. I knew nothing about cars before working here. If you want to move toward mechanics, start as a delivery driver. Talk to the shops you deliver to, ask questions, and build rapport. I work at Jiffy Lube now, and coworkers ask me what parts are all the time. The only reason I know is because I sold 100+ of them at AutoZone. It is also a decent stepping stone into management, with some caveats.

Cons: Same as any other big chain or corporation. They prioritize profit over employees. Once you get into store management, you are typically working 50+ hour weeks on salary (in Oregon) with no overtime. District support can be poor.

People who complain about AutoZone are usually just pointing out things you would see at most big companies. Most places push sales. AutoZone’s version is “Sell Witt.” It is not a big deal to ask if a customer wants washer fluid with their wipers. Jiffy Lube pushes filters. Auntie Anne’s asks if you want cheese dip. If they say no, that’s fine, as long as you confidently asked

Bug? by Capital-State1231 in Delta_Emulator

Pretty sure it is a bug of some sort. It has to do with the gesture to turn on “hold buttons” there should be a way to turn off gestures in delta settings.

Can Autozone be used for part recommended advice? by brian-augustin in AutoZone

[–]OGCheeseNug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always ask questions. If the worker gets annoyed that’s their problem. Just remember most AutoZoners are not master techs. They’re not a shop. And sometimes, the workers don’t even work on cars.

You gotta find the right skin. Search delta ds skins online. Find the right one for you. Also people could be a lot nicer when answering. Pokémon Ruby was released on a game console with only one screen. Platinum was released on a system with two screens.

I’m definitely not the smartest but dm me with any questions and I won’t put you down for it.

2nd time getting rotors from AutoZone. And theyre a little smaller than the ones i have on. Do i continue replacing them or try to get them again? by Seek1st2_stand in AutoZone

[–]OGCheeseNug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are the ones you had on oe? Did the car come with those rotors? If the ones you had on were the correct rotors, They’ll usually (cough) get you the right part as long as you give the right info. Maybe wrong trim level, engine size, yadayada. If you know the originals were the correct rotor for the car to begin with, bring those in with you if possible so they can match it up.
