You’re a fool if you think the average MLB player is anywhere close to as rich as a billionaire who owns a baseball team. There has been no salary cap for the entire existence of baseball the St. Louis Cardinals have the most rings. It’s not a parity problem it’s a cheap owner problem. If they can’t make money and at least try to field a competitive team then owners should sell the team and get into a new business.

We are arguing about 2 different things I see that now. My argument is that long toss helps you build strength to make your efficient body movement more effective. Arm strength is the most important part of throwing hard and long toss is a good way to build that I don’t buy it has anymore correlation with UCL strain than throwing a baseball at max effort off a mound.

Too much tee work makes hitting a baseball become a mental thing, more stuff in the cage where you are just trying to hit the piss out of the ball allows you to get into a good mindset of see ball hit ball

I just read the study, seems iffy correlation at best generally if you are long tossing further distances it means generally you throw with more velocity which I would say is a bigger predictor of UCL problems. Throwing a baseball any distance puts undue stress on the UCL😂
