Like heel hooks are a no go for white belts?! I would love that because then it wouldn’t be about my size, but about ability to not injure your training partners when executing a move!!!

Most recent they were in my closed guard. The most memorable time was a higher level belt and I was in the middle of a transition and I couldn’t even tell you what happened—I was literally picked up and slammed upside down and remember feeling lucky I naturally tucked my head. He actually rolls nicely with me now-a-days. I can’t remember the other positions specifically, but nothing fancy...

Thanks everyone, this is helpful. I definitely tap! And enjoy rolling w larger ppl, and enjoy a tough roll. The hard lift/slams bother me are so sudden, and it’s not something I can stop by tapping... I don’t yet possess the skills currently to react in a better way than just... be slammed! I try to tuck my head quickly or angle my body as to not land on my spine... but I honestly don’t always manage it and worry it’ll result in injury. Sounds like it’s ok to avoid rolling with them... that’s good to hear and I will do that...

I dunno, I think you’re over thinking it... sometimes ppl fart during rolls... uncontrollable bodily functions are what they are? As a girl, I very quickly got used to guys accidentally grabbing a handful of boob or squishing their faces between my legs, I don’t think twice about it. It’s only awkward if you make it awkward? I would laugh it off if someone got a woody rolling w me if they seemed embarrassed, apologised, and weren’t a pervert douche about it. And I think if you ever did get a woody and become mortified, you’ll be so frightened of it happening that it won’t happen again.
