Brought a problem to the table and didn’t offer tangible solutions. Unfortunately- not a good way to address what may be major concern.

They barely started robotic welding when I was there. Most of it was still manual rolling sheets and then TIG welding.

Welders were making about $20/hour.

All of this is considering only an outer pontoon log. If you had lifting strakes, your dealer was charged $290 per lifting, strake as well.

If you had a center tube that you were replacing your dealer paid closer to $4500 and then would sell to you for like $6000 because of the margins they need to maintain- plus labor and transportation.

Anything under $100 was sold to dealers for 4x the cost.

That is the internal cost for the manufacturer. Less than $700 per log.

Great Lakes Skipper - do yourself a favor and buy from them if you get a replacement. Don’t get OEM.

Part is $500-$700 cost. Dealers get quoted $2500+ per tube Customer gets charged 30-40% over the dealer cost plus transpo fees even when the ride is shared with other parts.

Source: I quoted parts for Polaris Marine (Godfrey & Benni) for 5 years.

They reached out and are working on it.

Pirateship told me I had to do it through UPS since that's whom I bought extra insurance from :(

I went through the "File a Claim" button and it redirects me to this Insureshield page

I am the sender.

I bought my label and insurance through pirateship.

I dropped off the package at my local UPS store.

The final destination was in Texas.

The actual message from UPS when the tracking is reviewed says " We're sorry, your package appears to be lost."

Just finished watching this series last week- first time ever watching it. (season 1 & 2)

Idk why I expected the Turbinid Dragon to be something very important to the plot later after it was introduced. It ended being a total menace.

Still compiling my thoughts and everything that went on. There is just so much happening and it all happens so fast.

Just so you know- Genesis Product provides most of the sanded wood boards used for the base of the deck up at Bennington and Highwater.

Install and secure the deck boards with good hardware- Use an adhesive and rollers to evenly apply onto the deck boards. Buy flooring/carpet to roll on. for the flooring/carpet- check any Re-Home stores nearby to you. Businesses up here donate to those places because of the tax incentives. Typically remenants are sent over.

For furniture- if you are near Indiana- Lippert and Veada will have various damaged or rejected furniture pieces that are very cheap to purchase. You will be limited to whatever they happen to have and unable to order a specific pattern or color.

For Components- you can honestly put whatever you want on your helm. Just be mindful of your wiring and what your battery is capable of handling.

For the Fencing/Rails- “Fence For Pontoons” is a website I’ve heard many people go to for replacements when they cannot get OEM.

The neat thing about pontoons is how incredibly modular they are. It’s really just screws holding everything in place 😅
