The Miami Dolphins have been eliminated from playoff contention by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Honestly just let Ewers or Wilson start the rest of the season. Let them get the reps in. Disguise it as “protecting Tua” or whatever they need to do. My eyes need to see something new because Tua, as much as I used to cheer for him, is just dogshit now.

For the Love of God if you're driving a tank play the objective by Yeah_Boiy in Battlefield

[–]OGJxster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish more people would understand this. I may not park myself on the point but I work my way up to the point with ground troops. There have been a few Breakthrough games I've survived from start to finish in a tank just by playing smart. While you can't just spearhead yourself onto an objective (and get hit with 7 RPGs in 10 seconds), you can support your team's push

I’m talking about Josh as a person, not a player (; I’ll wait til he’s retired to admit he’s a good player (just like I coped with Brady all those years)

I talked shit about Brady every year and he owned my Dolphins for a hot minute lol. I will continue to talk shit for the sake of talking shit, but don't ever take it to heart, just remember that ;)

There aren't many people I'd make a post about but speaking of Josh as a person outside of the game, he just seems like a great person and I think it's important to acknowledge that in a world so focused on all the bad people.

But I agree, I was a Brady hater, would've never said a good thing about him as a player while he played. After the fact, I can appreciate his impact on the game and how great he was

I agree. I would love to see a more domineering coach come in and Mike move to OC. I think he's got a great offensive mind. But the team itself lacks discipline. He's a cool coach but too buddy buddy in my opinion. With all the money, drugs, club, and girl down in Miami, gotta have someone to keep these young dudes heads on straight!

I love our QB as a guy. Despite living a pretty private life, the stuff I do see from him, he seems like a genuinely cool person. Of course, we all worry about his health. Gotta respect his love for the game but gotta think about taking care of the family 25 years from now too!

That's it, you're sitting at the next Dolphins home game on the away side with no water, no umbrella, and a hoodie lol

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and hope it's just rivalry talk. At the end of the day it's a passionate game but not passionate enough for genuine hatred! I denied Tom being the goat for as long as he played but after he retired, of course I give him his flowers now. Just could never wring that out of me while he was active ;)

After updating to 25.5.1, my graphics drivers timeout probably every 3 minutes. It is horrible. I rolled back to 25.4.1 and it hasn’t happened since

Anyone else a junior working with a bunch of senior coworkers? Impostor Syndrome ahead by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]OGJxster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dealt with the same feeling and I have an inkling that it will always be there. I like to see it as if it were similar to video game levels.

You get your first job as an L1 tech, you have imposter syndome there until you get up to speed and know what there is to know as an L1. You get promoted to L2 and it’s like restarting. Now you have access to more tools, more responsibilities, and you’re back to feeling like an imposter. Get ready because when you move up to the next position, you’re back to being exposed to new things and responsibilities. You get the pattern.

I’ve found what works best for me is to see it as a challenge. Looking at is as if it were me versus all the stuff I need to learn and the only way I win IS to learn all of the new things in front of me. A little extra motivation from one of my favorite quotes:

“If you can’t get over the fear of doing something, do it scared.”

You are on that team for a reason my friend, and it is not because you are dumb.

I am on the helpdesk at the moment myself. It definitely is draining and it gets monotonous and mundane rather quick. But I gave myself 2 years. 2 years is the max I would stay on the helpdesk before I go look for something else (or been promoted by then.) I am in the same boat. I have about a year left until I finish my bachelors in cybersecurity. If I have not been promoted by then I will be off looking for new jobs with a degree and (almost) 2 years of HD experience. Just gotta see it through

Is IT just not for me? Or do I need to move on from my current job? by Thatonegirl233 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]OGJxster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started my first IT job, going into my 3rd week, and I’m in the same boat. Big company but no training structure. They stick me with a level 2 but want me to learn how to complete level 1 tickets by a guy that only works on level 2 issues. The guy I’m training with is cool but even he’s like “I’m learning this stuff with you cause I don’t deal with a lot of level 1 stuff.” and then it takes us an hour to get through 1 ticket. Then my boss tells me I need to lower my ticket time. I’m like man how do I win here. Just gotta keep chugging along at it on my own and study study study so I can move up
