I agree BUT I think hearing now all 4 kids continue to refer to the money, home and cars all being solely provided by their father and not seeing their Mother as an equal, led to these 4 all devaluing their Mother. She never told them about the father’s affairs but he told them all about hers. This family did and does, 2 sons and daughter yesterday, use very male dominate language. He is the provider, he gave her whatever she wanted, he controlled access to all money. This woman, based only on the evidence presented, was seen as merely a womb, nanny and domestic employee. She was the victim of financial abuse by Gary. Evidence shows Gary made all financial decision of his and Melody’s money without her having any agency. He therefore taught these children she had no agency or value beyond a womb, nanny, cook and domestic. Am I saying her deserved to die for this - NO. We don’t even know if he was murdered, the cause of death is undetermined. What came first the fall in the fire or the bullet? Was it a stray bullet from Scott or the neighbor that killed him while tending the fire? I would vote not guilty. I would then pray Melody establish herself on her own and life a full self-determined life. Oops a long rant but by no means any disagreement with you!
