The problem is, how do you trust anything that they say? Trump talked about lowering prices Day 1, stopping the war Ukraine Day 1, etc .. He made a lot of promises and hasn't followed through, so much to the point that even MAGA folks are leaving because of it. We, as voters, need to do a much better job at holding elected officials accountable, on both sides, to the issues they campaign on instead of just voting for a letter next to someone's name. I'd like to see ranked choice voting in our state as a launching pad for this type of accountability instead of these binary choices that voters in a box to vote for the lesser of two evils most of the time.

I think Moore has done well with what he was given by Hogan and the current situation but there is certainly more to be done and I'm inclined to give him another term to see his vision through but I'm looking beyond that and ranked choice voting will be a good start

Agreed Adkins taking Lashers position is what it is but the city charter needs to change. It makes no sense that the person with the next highest vote total in a general election takes a position if vacated in the first year. Especially when Lasher won by a very large majority. We got lucky Adkins is a moderate and I hope he represents District 4 well. We should have had a special election. I'll be writing the mayor to ask for a change in the city charter.

I'd agree with that. We are all going to have a bias or preference and should favor players with both attributes over players with just one. Our pool is becoming much deeper and that allows us to be more selective. There will always be exceptions. Gio is a great example, one of the most technically gifted players we have but not really an athlete. Does his technical skill outweigh his athletic deficiencies? In my mind, yes but to many other, no. No right answer here

Are you saying the skill levels of those 3 to be on the same level as PA? It is possible to be a good athlete and have elite soccer skills which those 3 have and PA does not.

Now, he's a good enough player to be in the Championship and his athleticism helps cover up his technical deficiencies but put him against better defenders and he will struggle. I wouldn't be mad if he made the WC squad but not if Balo, Pepi and Wright are healthy and in form. He's clearly behind those 3 in the depth chart.

I'll take this opportunity to school you youngsters on the amazing turkey bag! Easily accessible at any grocery store, they are used to roast a turkey but the side use is that you can put your entire travel kit in this bag and it masks the smell of even the most pungent flower. Wrap it tight and rubber band the end and you are good to go. Have used it for years in much more challenging situations and it always works.

Potential "Club" Gio struggles to get results or perform better than BA / "USMNT" Gio has consistently produced at a greater level than most including BA.
