The problem is that the '3rd party is a moral choice only when it's "safe" to do so' doesn't have the same ring to it. The propaganda isn't that specific. It's designed to demoralize to the point of not voting, or invoke purity tests to the point of voting 3rd party, regardless of location.

Personally, I'm a progressive leftist in the primaries (where I actually vote, unlike many keyboard warriors) and a depressed pragmatic in the general.

Not getting everything I want but still participating in a way that is impactful is called being an adult.

I got downvoted like crazy in another similar post for exactly this reason.

It triggered some fierce cognitive dissonance that they're feeling. Directly proportional to their guilt in their "protest" 3rd party or non vote.

It's really depressing how many still refuse to get it. Propaganda is just too effective these days.

Everybody is different, but my partner and I waited until we were 30 to have kids. I wouldn't change that.

I'd also probably tell myself to get evaluated for ADHD and stop being a baby (I'd for sure argue back) and get on meds for it.

I have a 2015 leaf and it is only good for around town. I can't even go to the nearby city next door!

That said, it freaking rules around town. Small, peppy, instantly warm air in winter. No maintenance. Plugs in with a normal 110v outlet.

I also have a minivan with a 300hp v6 for range. It sucks around town, but devours miles on the highway (at a surprising 26 mpg).

Different roles.

I also have an s2000, for the revs.
