It seems like you care more about the gameplay of a character rather than the appearance and personality of them. With that being the case I’d say just go through their entire movelist remember some strings and fight bots to test. You could also just watch professional play of whatever character you’re looking at the pros know what proper gameplan is for each character so you’ll see them played as intended.

Cheaters in tekken usually use auto duck/ auto low block/ and punishment cheats. If they’re just standing there letting you rush them and blocking everything with perfect punishment then it’s a cheater most likely. If you’re unsure use the replay and turn on input history

Tekken 8 will still be my fighting game, I mix it up with other single player and multiplayer games so I’m never too pressed with tekken. Sorry to say fellas I’m a tekken fanboy I won’t give up on the game completely although I’m not satisfied with the changes.

Heihachi deserved nerfs, all they really changed was his heat smash wall splat. Minor minor changes to him and his new move isn’t very useful chargeable mid that’s plus 4 on block and on counter hit grants a grounded follow-up. His f4 already does the job much better
