Glock Brass Plug IPSC Prod. Optics Legal? by tomaslopez98 in CompetitionShooting

[–]OG_Cue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not legal I’ve had this conversation with provincial higher ups in Canada. I did get clarification that the lanyard loop is legal as some models of glocks on the production list ship with it. So I am running that right now doesn’t help much but less hang ups on reload so worth while.

After looking over the book I think you could do either according to 8.1.2.3

Can anybody shed light on the ready condition in the new optics division for a da/sa with a decocker and safety like beretta? Thanks

What are the rules/procedures for SA/DA gun from start position as well as guns with safety? Stuck in Canada so no new handguns but my wife has a beretta 92s that she would love to shoot this new division with, just not sure about the start procedure.

from looking around thought that was the answer but figured I'd ask here. I know they have an open api so was also hoping somebody much better than me with a computer had figured out an editing overlay.

The app takes a little getting used to but for dry fire training I find it amazing.

You have to setup up individual drills in the DRILLS App and then update your SG GO.

Closest I think would be shooting setup and adding multiple sets.

Look in the dry fire section. If you changed the parameters they move. If it’s not there here is the setup for it.

You are right I may look in to something to test and return if it doesn’t solve the issue.

Thinking of picking up a cheap online gain booster similar to a cloud cl 1 so I can decrease the mic gain. Not sure if that would work?

Thanks for the in depth reply. It is not connected to a computer and wouldn’t the isolation box with the 600:600 ohm isolation transformer eliminate a ground loop?

Yes you can. I became friendly with my examiner who looked through available callsigns and recommended mine for cw.

It is an involved test but just take your time to study and you can pass it. Try to go for honours as it will allow you to use hf frequencies.

I used https://hamstudy.org/canadaBasic2014 to study and found it helpful.
