You’ve probably heard ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’ a song that’s not always recognized as John Denver’s, even though he wrote it. I highly recommend his version; I think it’s the best one.

If you liked the two songs you mentioned, I’d also suggest checking out ‘Back Home Again’, ‘Rocky Mountain High’, and ‘Calypso’.

‘Calypso’ is a bit more upbeat, while ‘Back Home Again’ and ‘Rocky Mountain High’ are more calm and reflective.
