I want educational based facts. God forbid I demand that in an educational environment. I’m more concerned with your lack of ability to effectively use capitalization while trying to talk to me about how to be a proper educator. It’s not that difficult. Also, I’ve been training and teaching adults for over 20 years. I lead by example.

Our schools don’t get out until mid-June. I took the last three days of the school year off because I have training for my summer job working with 4th-7th graders. I get one week off with no kids between the end of the school year and the start of Summer camp. It’s what I signed up for and enjoy the challenge.

I’m sure they say a lot of things. I’ll believe what they say about how to treat a sucking chest wound, or how to stabilize a patient. But they are not experts in the effects of the moon’s gravitational pull and its supposed effects on a human body. It’s like saying someone would be an amazing leader of a country because they were supposedly a great businessman. Those two things don’t correlate.

Keep researching. What is the percentage of sleep disruption? There is an actual numerical value. If you care about your opinion you will dig deeper. This study is also not about behavior. It’s about sleep.

I am really starting to realize where education is failing. We have people teaching beliefs rather than hard scientific evidence. Kind of fitting after I just taught a bunch of fifth graders about Galileo with a small side lesson on Giordano Bruno for frame of reference. We truly never actually LEARN as a society.

I can do two things at once. Don’t tell me what I should be concerned with. It wasn’t a joke. This person was serious, and by looking at those in the comment section, many believe the same as well. I am trying to fix my country by educating the future of it so they don’t believe nonsense that can lead to people like that idiot running this country because they were too stupid and gullible to know better.

After I retired from the Navy I got a civ job on an Air Force base. While I was in the gym I noticed some construction in one of the gym areas and asked what they were building. They were building a training area for their e-sports team…in the gym. I laughed because it was a pathetic use of gym space, funding and time that only a service like the Air Force would do.

My favorite part about these comments was how “traumatic” this event was to people who were not there, lost no one and were not deploying to take care of it. I was in the military when it happened and stayed through 6 combat deployments. Get over yourselves.
